My husband and I dined here our second night in Nashville. We loved it so much we secured a reservation for the following night. The first night we enjoyed the ribeye, baked potato, tuna and shrimp cocktail. The second night, we switched gears and tried their seafood. We had the crab, tuna, poke, Chilean sea bass, scallops, potato purée and s'mores dessert. Everything was fantastic. We would like to mention some of the staff that made our experience so special. We loved bartender, Jennice! She was so sweet, hard-working and funny. Great personality and very attentive. Server, Geoff was awesome. Very professional and knowledgeable. We enjoyed chatting with Kevin. He assembled our tuna poke and was just such a sweet guy. Alexa was really sweet too. Overall, wonderful dining experience both nights. Beautiful restaurant with stunning views of Nashville!!

A 4/5 for food for me, but an absolute 10/5 for service, ambiance, view, and overall VIBE. I have never been to a steakhouse before. I don't eat red meat and never thought I'd have things to eat at a steakhouse, so never bothered to explore them. I also really like trendy, small plates/tasting menu/fine dining so a more traditional steakhouse is not my go-to for a nice meal. However, I was looking for a fun & special solo dinner to do for my birthday and a friend just really raved about the ambiance here, so I decided to try it out. You can't make a reservation for 1 online, which was a bit frustrating, but I was able to call a couple days before and get a reservation for 1. I sat in the middle of the restaurant but there are great views everywhere, so don't feel bummed if you don't get a window seat. I highly recommend going to the bathroom at least once because it has the best views in the restaurant. From the get, the restaurant went out of their way to make me feel special and celebrated on my birthday: a card signed by staff congratulating me on my birthday, a special amuse bouche (my favorite bite of the night), a little birthday cake and candle with my dessert, cute little complimentary take-home caramel popcorn at the end of the night. I sat next to other people celebrating birthdays/anniversaries/special occasions who got similar treatment and it was so nice to congratulate each other on our milestones. It's clear this restaurant knows people like to come here for special occasions and they really do it right. Truly outstanding service from my server. In my older age, I have a hard time drinking cocktails with sugar so wanted something off menu (a martini variant) and the bar did it beautifully with the exact gin I wanted (there is an EXTENSIVE liquor list here.) Each item my server guided me to ended up being absolutely amazing and my favorites were the tuna rolls (light, refreshing, flavorful, and satisfyingly crunchy), the broiled crab with red miso butter and the absolutely perfect bourbon pecan pie. At the end of the night she also went out of her way to make sure I got a decaf espresso martini. Just truly an incredible server who wanted her guests to have a pleasant experience. I thought the broiled shrimp was so so. I loved the concept of the complimentary fry trio but execution was a bit off because some fries were just too well done (never thought I'd say that about fries, I normally love a crispy fry). They also accidentally tossed my leftover dessert at the end of the night instead of boxing it up like I requested but my incredible server took care of it and got me brand new ones. The brussel sprouts were very good but similar to a recipe I make at home, so didn't knock me out of the park as something especially unique/special. No dress code here and parking is validated (valet!) for 4 hours, complimentary. Definitely want to come back and sit at the bar and also try their caviar service! Overall, a solid experience even if steakhouses aren't normally your thing!

Everyone I bumped into in Nashville - from ride share drivers to hotel staff -asked if I was going to Bourbon Steak during my trip. This reassured me that I did indeed book the best possible restaurant for a Friday evening dinner. --- Venue: Located on the 34th floor of the JW Marriott, you get a nearly 360 degree view of the city out on their sky deck, which also has its own separate bar. The view from the women's bathroom is just as impressive. --- Hospitality: Service was top notch, with servers dressed in white coats. They were just the right touch of attentive, approaching without overwhelm or upsell. --- Food: Fries come out in place of bread with three different seasonings and accompanying dipping sauces. Tuna tartare is mixed table side, with some of the freshest tuna I've had out (non-Japanese). Of course, the steaks are the star of the show: opt for the wagyu new york strip. I could have done without the truffle mac & cheese (a Michael Mina classic), but would never skip the pureed mashed potatoes.

Ended up getting to switch my reservation from 9:15pm to a 7pm which ended up working out perfect. Food was great- fries (instead of complementary bread) was 10/10- I loved the different sauces. Steaks were perfectly cooked. Truffle Mac was good fresh, the baked potato was enormous but basic and you can put the toppings on yourself. Our waitress was amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu Expensive but to be expected. The women's bathroom had an awesome view. End of the meal you get a take home bag of their chocolate caramel popcorn

What a wonderful foodie experience!!! Dinner was incredible every dish was wonderful of course Michael Mina you did it again. Each dish flavorful beyond, insane city view and our service team GM AJ and Chad our server thank you for our experience this is one for the memory bank!

All star service as always from a Michael Mina restaurant. Came in on a Sunday night trying to grab dinner and drinks before heading out for the night. It was a bit hard to find a spot at the bar but eventually we snagged a seat on the outdoor bar which is situated on the 34th floor and overlooking downtown Nashville. Spectacular skyline views! Meredith, our wonderful bartender made our night and I loved her honest opinion on food/drinks. For starters they give a trio of duck fat fries with three dipping sauces in lieu of bread. We also got the Ahi tartar which I probably wouldn't order again- needed more sauce and flavor. For main we got the brussel sprouts and delmonico (split in two) medium rare. It was good, not great and too fat/ chewy for my liking. Great experience still, would order differently on a future visit but at least worth grabbing a drink at the bar!
